Today is my 11 year wedding anniversary with my amazing wife. So today’s newsletter will be short and sweet because we are spending the day together. I am the luckiest guy in the world to have found Maddie. She’s been so supportive of everything I take on, including my book and everything that is coming with it.
Speaking of anniversaries, yesterday was also the 1 year anniversary of me releasing my book, Angel Man, and it has been an amazing first year. I’ve sold thousands of books and angels, and have maybe handed even more than that out. It’s been a beautiful thing to see how it has all evolved and year 2 is going to be even better. I can’t thank you all enough for your support.
Just last week I had my largest single order of angel pins from a reader in Oregon who ordered 250 pins. It made me smile because I know there are now 250 new opportunities out there for an angel pin to change someone’s day. I even sent this customer a free, signed, hardcover book to thank her for her order. It really is incredibly rewarding to see my hard work and continued efforts with the book and the angels, translating to the ripple effects of the angel pins.
I would encourage you all to buy a pack of 10, 25, or more angel pins and use them to help better the lives of those you encounter on a daily basis. I promise, once you start handing them out, you’ll find the beauty in everything my grandfather and our family have found through this simple act of kindness.
My SHOUT for June goes out to Sal Frisella of 1st Phorm who started a fundraising challenge called “30 for the Kids” to raise money for children in Haiti who have little to no access to clean water, proper housing, food, clothing, proper education, and medicine. He felt through fitness and the community they’ve built at their incredible company, they could raise awareness and money to help these children in Haiti.

What Sal and his team are doing is truly impactful work and it matters. Today is Day 1 of 30 of the challenge so sign up and help us all raise some money and get in better shape doing it!
Father’s Day is in a couple of weeks so this June, help make the father or father figure in your life feel loved with a thoughtful gift that will really make him feel appreciated. I realize as a father myself, this is a bit of a selfish request, and truthfully, I don’t like being celebrated normally, but I will say that lately, I’ve never been more proud to be a Dad to my two boys and it really has become my greatest honor in life.
